Springbank Hazelburn 21-Year-Old 2023 Single Malt Whisky
This is the Springbank Distillery’s 2023 release of the Hazelburn 21-Year-Old. Triple-distilled, this single malt has been aged for 21 years in a blend of casks that contain 10% sherry, 10% port, and 80% bourbon.
Tasting Notes
Nose: blackberries, warehouse mustiness, damp earth, leather aprons, a little zing from some lime juice as well as a little sour cherry and appetizer, light caramel and fudge sweetness.
Taste: fresh green apple, pineapple, lemonade, sweet oak, Stroop waffle, a light salinity moving into toffee on the finish.
Finish: a long, sweet finish.
