Kujira Ryukyu 20 Year Whisky 750ml
Kumesen Syuzo, founded in 1952, began distilling Awamori, a distilled alcoholic beverage indigenous to the Okinawa islands of Japan, commonly known as the Ryuku islands. Then, about 1989, this forward-thinking distillery began to age Awamori in oak barrels, resulting in a one-of-a-kind ji-whisky known as Ryukyu Whisky.

Toasted cereal grains are pleasantly buttery on the nose. Supple and smooth in the mouth, there are notes of salted caramel, pastry crust, and honeyed oats. Flavors of brown butter balance out the sweet grains for a full flavored sip.
