Garrison Brothers occasionally releases Cowboy Bourbon, one of America’s most sought bourbon whiskies. In Jim Murray’s 2014 and 2017 Whisky Bibles, this was named the American Whiskey of the Year. It’s ambrosia at its finest. Cowboy Bourbon, unlike Small Batch, is sourced from Dan and Donnis’ preferred barrels. They are aged for a few years before being bottled at cask strength, uncut and unfiltered.

Sweet pipe tobacco, full-grain leather, and freshly made banana nut bread. Wildflower honey and sparkling plum soda provide floral beginning scents. Warm raspberry chocolate pie with ganache drizzled on top. For a sweet end, chocolate-covered Luxardo cherries are matched with excellent armagnac. The nose rolls in sweetly and gently. Reminiscent of a new pair of hand-made leather boots. Or maybe monkey bread. Finishes subtly with spring jasmine.
