Booker Noe’s Batch 2023-01 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
The sixth generation of the Beam family to produce bourbon and serve as a “Master Distiller” for more than 40 years at the Jim Beam distillery was Booker Noe, the grandson of Jim Beam.
Booker’s is a rare, barrel-strength bourbon that has been aged to perfection. Booker introduced this new experience for whiskey lovers in 1988. One that allows fans of bourbon to savor it with the same large, strong flavors as his grandpa, Jim Beam.
Every year, Booker’s offers a few new batches. The age, proof, and character of these differ.
This is the first release of the Booker’s Bourbon 2023 Collection: Batch 2023-01, ‘Charlie’s Batch’. This batch is named in honor of Charlie Hutchens, the craftsman behind the signature wooden boxes that each bottle of Booker’s Bourbon comes in. He is also a long-time family friend and former employee of Booker Noe.
Nose: balanced without too much wood and with hints of oak, toasted nuts, and vanilla.
Taste: balanced with a slight warmth and vanilla and caramel notes.
Finish: Pleasant finish.
