Dalmore King Alexander III Scotch Whiskey 750ml
In 1263, Colin of Kintail, Chief of the Clan Mackenzie, made the courageous decision to stand up and be checked, and he dispatched a charging stag that attacked King Alexander III of Scotland. As a thank you for sparing his life, the grateful King bestowed the 12-guided Royal Stag’s seal on the Mackenzie Clan.
When relatives of the Mackenzie Clan took control of the Dalmore refinery in 1867, they kept this overcome demonstration in mind and gladly put the 12-pointed Royal Stag on the jug. Right up until today, the Stag still enhances every last container of The Dalmore.
To honor the Mackenzie Clan’s pioneering and imaginative estimations, our Master Distiller has meticulously created the world’s first single malt to join a special six-container set for one remarkable achievement. Spirits developed in ex-whiskey containers, Matusalem oloroso sherry barrels, Madeira barrels, Marsala containers, Port funnels, and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques are consolidated to make an interestingly intricate yet smooth single malt. This is a prime example of overcoming imagination and a lifetime of involvement.
