Bowmore 1998 23 Year Old Rare Find, Gleann Mor 2021 Bottling – Single Cask 353892

This mesmerizing 23-year-old Islay single malt was laid to rest at the Bowmore Distillery in June 1998 and was bottled in June 2021 for the Rare Find series by Gleann Mór Spirits Co.

It was charged from a single sherry cask, number 353892, at a natural strength of 48.6% ABV. This is one of only 150 limited-edition bottles, each of which comes with an original presentation box.

Tasting Notes

Colore:  Ambra.

Aroma: Al Naso has notes of brine, sand, and a hint of sea, as well as a light sweetness and a hint of caramel.

Palate: has notes of baked apple, blueberry jam, toasted cereal with chocolate, cloves, salted caramel, and a light note of peat smoke that we enjoy.

Finish: long-lasting, slightly dry, with notes of black pepper, cloves, red apples, toasted cereals, and some elegant and complex peat smoke.
