Booker Noe’s Batch 2023-01 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Booker Noe, the grandson of Jim Beam, was the sixth generation of the Beam family to produce bourbon and serve as a “Master Distiller” at the Jim Beam distillery for more than 40 years.
Booker’s is a rare, barrel-strength bourbon aged to perfection. He introduced this new experience for whiskey lovers in 1988. It allows fans of bourbon to savor the same robust flavors as Jim Beam.
Every year, Booker’s releases a few new batches. The age, proof, and character of these batches differ.
The first release of the 2023 Booker’s Bourbon Collection is: Batch 2023-01, “Charlie’s Batch.” It is named in honor of Charlie Hutchens, the craftsman behind the signature wooden boxes in which each bottle of Booker’s Bourbon is packaged. Hutchens is also a longtime family friend and former employee of Booker Noe.
Nose: balanced without too much wood and with hints of oak, toasted nuts, and vanilla.
Taste: balanced with a slight warmth and vanilla and caramel notes.
Finish: Pleasant finish.
