Hibiki Japanese Harmony Special Edition Whiskey
The Hibiki Japanese Harmony Limited Edition is a unique edition. Adorned with painted flowers and flowing ribbons of water
This Hibiki Limited Edition is crafted from a blend of more than 12 unique grain and malt whiskies produced at Suntory’s Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita distilleries. The blend, which was developed by master blender Shingo Torii and chief blender Shinji Fukuyo, is composed of five key styles: Chita grain whiskey, which serves as the “broth,” malt whiskies aged in American oak casks, sherry casks, Mizunara (Japanese oak) casks, and finally a smoky malt whisky, which adds hidden complexity to the blend.
The special design is what makes this Hibiki Japanese Harmony Special Edition Whiskey so special. It is explained in the press release: “The bottle itself is inspired by a traditional kimono pattern and is embellished with the tabane-noshi, a Japanese symbol of celebration that has been added to precious gifts since ancient time.”
“Kanzen,” or complete, Hibiki Whisky is a harmonious blend of innumerous malt and grain whiskies that are meticulously blended to create a full orchestra of flavors and aromas. Seductive, blossoming, and enigmatic, Hibiki Whisky celebrates an unrivaled art of blending, fine craftsmanship, and a sense of luxury from the House of Suntory.
