Widow Jane Bourbon is proofed with water from the historic limestone caves of the Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, New York—water with unique chemical properties that pair perfectly with whiskey. This unique thirteen-year-old offering arises from a select group of barrels, whose warehouse position has led to whiskeys of unusually rich and flavorful character. Each has been aged for a minimum of thirteen years and hails originally from Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. The small amount of whiskey selected for this release means especially small batches as well, never more than 4-6 barrels, leaving more room for complexity and unique batch character.
