Glenkinchie 27 Years Old Special Release 2023
The oldest age statement in Diageo’s 2023 Special Releases is from the Lowland distillery Glenkinchie. This 27-year-old expression is called “The Floral Treasure” and was aged in a mix of refill American and European oak barrels and butts. It was then bottled at 58.3% ABV.
Tasting Note
Nose Through elegant elderflower aromas come cookie dough, peaches in syrup, and toasted almonds.
Palate A smattering of oak spice prickles through orchard fruit and citrus notes, as well as a beautiful sweet vanilla element.
Finish Gracefully long and delicately floral
