Crafted by the Mitchell family, Spot Whiskeys are lovingly made in the heart of Ireland from malted and unmalted barley. They are naturally triple-distilled using a traditional pot still at the Midleton Distillery. Blue Spot Cask Strength Irish Whiskey is inspired by the Mitchell family’s practice of marking maturing whiskeys with colored spots according to their aging potential. This expression’s arrival marks the first time in nearly six decades that all the different spots are available again. Blue Spot spends at least seven years in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry, and Portuguese Madeira casks. It is bottled at 117.4 proof without chill filtration, resulting in a flavor-packed spirit.
