Canadian Club Issue No.3 43 Year Canadian Whiskey 750ml
The oldest Canadian whisky ever issued is this Canadian Club! As part of an ongoing initiative to release ultra-aged whiskies from the same stock distilled in 1977, Canadian Club is releasing Chronicles 43 Years Old, their third offering in the series. The 2020 edition pays tribute to the brand’s Prohibition-era significance by renaming it The Speakeasy. A dash of 11-year-old rye was blended with the whisky to provide some brightness before it was bottled. It was also blended with tiny portions of rye, sherry, and cognac when it was made in 1977. Distillers are allowed to add up to 9.09% of other alcoholic liquids to their whiskies in accordance with Canadian regulations. A special quantity of Canadian Club Chronicles 43 Years Old, bottled at 45% ABV, is now available.
