Dalmore 21-Year-Old 2023 Edition Single Malt Whisky
This is the 2023 version of Dalmore’s signature expression, which has been around for 21 years.
It was aged in ex-Bourbon barrels made of American white oak and first-fill Sherry casks that previously held 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry. The Dalmore selects these Sherry casks by hand from the world-renowned González Byass bodega to create an exceptional whisky full of character.
Tasting Notes
Nose: bitter dark chocolate, overripe Seville oranges, Colombian coffee, and toffee apple.
Taste: sweet liquorice stick, black forest fruits, roasted walnuts, and thick marzipan.
Finish: Ginseng, pear tarte tatin, and Sanguinello blood oranges.
